Esqueleto is awesome! I love having this shop in the neighbored to see and admire the work of emerging artists and artisan-based small businesses. The staff is always friendly towards me when I visit and is helpful with any questions I have without being overly pushy to make a sale. While on a trip to LA I decided to visit their shop on Sunset Blvd. I fell in love with a piece from a local SF artist, Rebecca Overmann. When I got home I reached out to Esqueleto to see if they had this piece or a similar one in their Oakland location. They immediately had the exact ring I was looking at in LA shipped to their Oakland location and kindly let me know that the ring was in the Oakland shop for me to try on again if I would like while making a decision - wow. I decided to sit on the decision but when I ultimately decided to purchase the ring the staff was as friendly and as responsive as usual and gave me a direct phone number to call while making the purchase. Esqueleto even had a portion of the sale go to local foodbanks in Oakland, LA, and NYC. I love my ring and wear it every day. I know one day I will pass it on to a loved one to enjoy themselves. What I love the most though is the great customer service Esqueleto provides as well as the support they give to their local community. Thank you, Esqueleto!

Beautifully curated collection of alternative handcrafted jewelry. There is an emphasis on knowing the artist here and the staff is very thorough and attentive. They were very helpful in helping me select a wedding band to go with the engagement ring that my fiancé bought from one of their artists. This is a great place to go in and browse they always have something new and unusual.

If you are looking for exquisite gifts for loved ones you should check this shop out. They have thoughtfully curated jewelery and ceramics and artwork. Very knowledgeable people, as attentive as you need! Learn about the artists that they represent! They can size rings and customize as needed.

I've bought jewelry from this shop before and I appreciate their selection. I bought a couple of custom bracelets for my mom here, and when they were lost via UPS, Artemio and his team were lovely and helped with a complicated customer service issue. Truly standout service.

My partner and I both got our wedding bands here and we love them! They are unique to our tastes and comfortable to wear. I can not recommend it highly enough. Be sure to go 8 weeks before the wedding so there is time for the ring to be resized/remade in your size. So friendly and helpful.

Worked on a custom wedding band order with them and it came out perfectly. They were great with communication and showed me a CAD before I paid. I had previously tried to work with a jewelry shop in San Francisco and it was a total disaster so Esqueleto was truly a breath of fresh air. Everyone at esqueleto made the process pleasant, seamless from our first meeting to pick up, and the piece was exactly what I wanted. Customer for life thank you!

It was such a wonderful experience working with Kate and the Oakland Esqueleto team on a custom ring. From start to finish, Kate was incredibly responsive, thoughtful, and patient as I explored different options and small tweaks to get everything just right. She kept me updated throughout the process and made it feel seamless. The ring turned out absolutely beautiful!! I truly couldn’t be happier with the final piece and the overall experience.
